Our principles

B2 is a non-profit entity with absolutely no interest in peoples private information or in any form of marketing business - in fact, much of our operation is all about improving peoples right to privacy. Naturally, absolute necessity requires us to be involved in processing information, for the purpose of providing hosting to services such as discussion, mailing lists, blogs or such. Each such service provides their own data privacy and security details. We only provide hosting services to non-profit entities, thus they cannot operate online services for profit under our support.

We store basic contact information on parties whom we provide services to. The purpose is solely to provide our services, inform users on technical changes, provide technical support and such.

Physically speaking, all of our services are physically and legally stored in Finland, under Finnish and EU law. This includes primary and backup services. The primary service provider is Pahalammen Verkot (Tietotunkki oy, Finnish business ID 2621053-2).

Domains and services

B2 provides domain hosting, but not registration services. B2 uses third parties for domain registrations.

B2 also provides free data and information security consultation services for nonprofits.
